Why We Built BatchCard
We needed to create 2,000 gift cards for a holiday campaign. Shopify made us do it one at a time. So we built something better.
The Mid-Market Gap
Shopify's admin lets you create gift cards one at a time. That works for 5 or 10 cards. It does not work for 500 or 5,000.
Enterprise tools exist, but they charge percentage fees on every gift card value and require complex onboarding. Create $50,000 in employee gift cards and you pay hundreds in fees for software that generates codes.
Mid-market merchants were stuck: overpaying for features they did not need, or spending hours creating cards by hand. BatchCard fills that gap.
