Move your Clover gift cards to Shopify with their balances and codes. Clover's Outstanding Balance report shows everything you need; the one wrinkle is exporting full card numbers, which sometimes takes a support request.

Balances
Import each card's current remaining balance. Clover's Outstanding Balance report lists the remaining balance per card alongside the gift card number and activation date.
Codes
Clover gift card numbers are typically 16 numeric digits and fit Shopify's format, so they carry over. Any number outside the 8 to 20 character limit gets a fresh code.
Good to know
Clover's self-serve CSV export of full card numbers is the least documented of the four platforms. The on-screen report shows full numbers, but downloading them may require the Columns settings or contacting Clover support to request a full gift card list.
How the migration works
- 1Deactivate your gift cards in Clover so they cannot be redeemed on both platforms.
- 2In your Clover Dashboard, go to Reports, then Gift Cards, and open the Outstanding Balance report.
- 3Set your date range and use the Columns button to include the gift card number and remaining balance.
- 4If you cannot export full card numbers yourself, contact Clover support to request a full gift card list.
- 5Import the file into BatchCard, mapping the card number and the remaining balance.
