View delivery counts across all your batches: scheduled, sent, and failed. Resend to failed recipients with one click. Recipients without existing Shopify accounts are automatically added as customers.
How It Works
Add recipient emails
Include email addresses in your CSV import or enter them in the batch form. Each email gets one gift card.
Create the batch
BatchCard creates the gift cards and queues email delivery through Shopify's notification system.
Track delivery status
Monitor each recipient's delivery status on the batch detail page: scheduled, sent, or failed.
Retry failed deliveries
Click Retry on any failed delivery. BatchCard resends through Shopify's email system. Recipients without Shopify accounts are created as customers automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Which plans include email delivery?
- Email delivery is available on Starter ($4.99/mo), Pro ($9.99/mo), and Business ($24.99/mo). The Free plan does not include email delivery.
- Can I customize the gift card email template?
- Gift card emails use Shopify's built-in gift card notification template. You can customize this template in your Shopify admin under Settings > Notifications > Gift card created.
- What happens if a recipient email bounces?
- The delivery shows as failed on the batch detail page. You can update the email address and retry delivery, or export the code and send it manually.
- Are recipients added as Shopify customers?
- Yes. If a recipient email does not match an existing customer, Shopify creates a new customer record automatically when the gift card is delivered.
