Does the report cover cards created outside BatchCard?

Yes. The daily sync reads every gift card in your Shopify store, including cards created in the Shopify admin or by other apps, so the outstanding balance reflects your whole program.

How current are the numbers?

BatchCard syncs card balances from Shopify once a day, and the report shows the exact "as of" time of the last sync. Need fresher numbers? Click Sync now to run an on-demand refresh.

Do the CSV exports contain full gift card codes?

No. Report exports are built for accounting, so they use masked card numbers (last 4 characters only) and never include full codes or customer details. Full-code export lives on each batch page, where access is logged.

The issued-versus-redeemed chart shows whether your gift card program is growing liability or converting it into sales, over any date range you pick. An expiring-soon list surfaces cards about to lapse, which pairs well with expiration reminders to recover that value first.

How It Works

Open Reports

Click Reports in the BatchCard navigation. The page loads with your current outstanding balance and the last 30 days of activity.

Pick a date range

Use the date range picker to view any period. Period totals for issued and redeemed value update to match; the headline outstanding balance always reflects the latest sync.

Review the trend and expiring cards

Read the issued-versus-redeemed chart to see how value flows through your program, and check the expiring-soon list for cards about to lapse.

Export for accounting

Download a summary CSV of the period or a card-level detail CSV. Detail exports use masked card numbers, so no full codes leave the report.
