Bulk Resend

By the end of this guide, you'll have resent gift card emails to a whole batch in one action.

When to use bulk resend

• Some emails in a batch failed or never went out, and you want to fix the gaps in one pass.
• A campaign is underperforming and you want to remind everyone who has not redeemed their card yet.
• You created a batch without notifications and now want to email the cards after all.

Resend a batch

1. Open BatchCard and go to Batches.
2. Open the batch you want to resend.
3. Click Resend emails.
4. Choose a scope:
   • Failed and unsent: cards whose original email failed or never went out.
   • All unredeemed: every card in the batch that still holds its balance.
5. Review the confirmation. It shows how many cards will receive an email and how many are skipped, with the reason for each skip.
6. Click Resend.

The resend runs in the background. Stay on the page or come back later; the batch page reports the outcome either way.

Which cards are skipped

BatchCard never re-emails a card the recipient cannot use or has already used. A card is skipped when it is:

• Redeemed: the balance has been spent.
• Deactivated: the card was disabled in Shopify.
• Expired: the card is past its expiration date.
• Zero balance: nothing is left to spend.
• Missing an email: the card has no recipient email on file.

The confirmation dialog counts each group so you know exactly what is going out.

Batches created without notifications

Bulk resend works on silent batches too. BatchCard attaches the recipient to each card first, then sends the standard gift card email. Cards without a recipient email are skipped and reported.

Check the outcome

After the resend finishes, the batch page shows a summary banner with the number of emails sent and any cards that could not be sent. Each card's delivery status updates as its email goes out.
