Printable Gift Cards

By the end of this guide, you'll have a print-ready PDF of gift cards from one of your batches.

When to print gift cards

• Physical handouts at an event, market, or pop-up.
• Register-side cards for your retail counter, redeemable by QR scan at Shopify POS.
• Certificates to include with a gift, an order, or an employee award.

Set your branding first

Printed cards use the logo and accent color from your Brand settings. Set those once and every PDF (and reminder email) picks them up. If you skip this, cards print with your store name in clean text instead of a logo.

Download a PDF

1. Open BatchCard and go to Batches.
2. Open the batch you want to print.
3. Click Download PDF cards.
4. Choose a layout:
   • Wallet: 8 cards per page with cut marks, sized for wallets and envelopes.
   • Certificate: one card per page, presented like a gift certificate.
5. Choose a design style: Band, Stub, or Minimal. Thumbnails preview each one.
6. Confirm the paper size. BatchCard defaults to Letter or A4 based on your store's country.
7. Click Download.

The PDF streams straight to your download. BatchCard never stores a copy of the file.

Print and cut

1. Print the PDF at 100% scale (no "fit to page" shrinking).
2. For wallet layout, cut along the marks between cards.
3. Hand the cards out.

How recipients redeem

• In person: scan the QR code at Shopify POS. The card applies at checkout like a swiped plastic card.
• Online: enter the printed code at checkout, the same as any Shopify gift card code.
